A cold beverage for the summer – refreshing and tasty – with a light sweet note by the Acacia honey.
1/2 Gallon
1 pound (3 1/2 cups, 500g) fresh strawberries | Clean the strawberries and remove the stalks |
21/2 a gallon of water 2 big tbs acacia honey 2 branches of fresh spearment (about 15 inches per branch) |
Bring the water to boil in a pot together with the strawberries, honey and the branches of spearmint. |
preparation 5 min medium heat / 10 min cooking time |
Let everthing boil for 10 minutes in the open pod. Soop up the foam, let it chill. |
Filter the juice through a fine colander. Fill up two bottles (preferable glass) with the filtered juice. I recommend to let it chill for at least two hours in the fridge before serving. Add icecubes if you like. | |
